- By day I am a civil rights and Florida Bar Board Certified Labor & Employment Lawyer in South Florida. The rest of the day, I am an artist/photographer. My primary equipment is a Canon EOS 1d Mark II and EOS 5d digital camera and a bunch of Canon Lenses. I occasionally shoot film, but that is becoming a once a year event I guess. While nature and avian photography is my primary focus, I also enjoy taking photos of people, places, and things. You can usually find me in the Everglades and throughout the State of Florida as I like to capture the true essence of the state of my birth. Besides the Everglades, I like to photograph the scenery and the wildlife in locations such as Fort Myers/Sanibel, the Venice Rookery, Fort DeSoto/Tampa Bay area, Osceola County, and various locations along the coast.

Thanks for the comment. For my pictures in my blog, I did not do any retouch. I am just using a digital camera which has this cool accent effect feature. It's a Cannon Powershot SD750. The accent effect basically lets me chose the color I only want to see and the rest of the photo is in grayscale.
I see that you love photography as well and you seem like an expert. I am planing to purchase a SLR, is there a certain one you recommend?
