An Example of Kertesz' Genius - The Wandering Violinist

This is one of the great photographic images ever taken by Kertesz who is mentioned in my earlier post. Anyone who is into photography should study his work. He was a pioneer and his images were not posed; he would wait for the moment and in turn would record on film an artistic masterpiece. On a technical basis, the composition in this image is flawless. Perfection

He was one of my inspirations a million years ago when I took B & W in college. They are priceless images considering as well that the equipment was so primitive relative to today's standards. There were several other photogs as well whose names escape me now. I learned everything I know about photography from studying those books and processing in the lab.
