With the beautiful weather we get here in winter and spring, it's always time for a cold beer in Everglades City especially in between the morning and afternoon fishing trip or anytime you are in the mood for stone crab claws. 
When you're not in the mood for a beer, you can enjoy the plethora of osprey which nest throughout the area.

I was in Everglades City the other day on business (believe it or not), and it's amazing the contrast between winter and summer in that town. The town is bustling with tourists this time of year, but in the summer it is deadsville.
Still, nice place for a quick visit and for seafood, and barely over an hour's drive from Miami.
